Drop-Off and Collection

Children in Reception - Year 4 must always be dropped off and collected by an adult. Older siblings should not be  responsible for this.

Pupils in Years 5 and 6 are allowed to independently, without an adult and following BEST, arrive and leave the school with parents and carers permission. Please see the school office for a 'Morning and Home time arrangements' permission form.

We value strong partnerships between home and school, and these opportunities help us build positive relationships with families.

If your child's usual drop-off or collection arrangements change, for example another adult is collecting them, please let us know as soon as possible. This helps us ensure all children are collected safely and avoids any unnecessary worry or confusion.

Travelling to School

Whenever possible, we encourage families to walk to school.

Walking to school:

  • Supports children's health and wellbeing
  • Helps reduce traffic around the school
  • Improves road safety for everyone
  • Respects our neighbours and local parking regulations

For those travelling by bike or scooter, bike racks are available on site. Cycling helmets MUST be worn.

If you need to travel by car, please park considerately, please do not park on the zig zags directly outside the school gates and please avoid parking outside other people's houses/driveways,  to help keep everyone safe at busy times.

We have some disabled bays within the school gates (in the school car park). These bays can be used providing a blue badge is displayed. Please drive slowly and carefully whilst using these bays, please wait until all pupils and parents have exited the car park before leaving.
