Wraparound Care

At Standens Barn Primary School, we are proud to offer flexible, reliable wraparound childcare to support our busy families.

Whether you need care before or after school, our friendly team is here to help your child start and end their day in a safe, fun and nurturing environment.

Breakfast Club

Time: 8:00am – 8:45am. Each session is £5.00 per day per child.
Breakfast includes cereals, toast and toppings and pastries. Children meet their friends, enjoy a healthy breakfast and play. Activities are also included.

After School Club

Time: 3:15pm – 5:45pm. Each session is £11.00 per day per child.
A relaxed and engaging space where children can unwind, play, and take part in activities with familiar adults in a familiar setting.

The children are given drinks, snacks and a small meal so they remain well energised until they go home.

The children also get additional opportunities to play on the school playground equipment and in the school hall and we are also offering new and different activities for each day of the week:

Monday: Make your own pizza and board games
Tuesday: Baking
Wednesday: Just Dance/Music and Switch
Thursday: Arts/ crafts
Friday: Movie night

We can cater for a maximum of 30 children at each session so please book early to avoid disappointment.

To book a place

Interested in a Place?

If you would like your child to attend Breakfast Club and/or After School Club, please follow the steps below:

Contact the school office to find out more information and collect the relevant forms.
Collect a copy of our Wraparound Care Policy from the school office.
Complete the Parent Agreement Form and return it to the school office. This must be completed before any bookings can be made.
Once your agreement has been processed, log in to the Arbor App or Arbor Parent Portal to book sessions.

How to Book Using Arbor

Add funds to your child's Wraparound Care account.
Register your child for Breakfast Club and/or After School Club.
Select and book the dates you require.

Important Information

Places are limited and bookings are allocated on a first come, first served basis, so we recommend booking as early as possible.

Tax-free childcare

We would also like to share with you information about the UK Government’s Tax-Free Childcare scheme, and how it can help you cover the costs of our wrap around care provision.

What is Tax-Free Childcare?

Tax-Free Childcare is a government initiative designed to help working parents with the cost of childcare. For every £8 you pay into a dedicated online childcare account, the government adds £2—giving you a 25% top-up. You can receive up to:

£500 every three months (£2,000 per year) per child
£1,000 every three months (£4,000 per year) if your child has a disability

This support can be used to pay for approved childcare providers, including our own wraparound care at Standens Barn Primary.

To be eligible, you must be working (including self-employment) and earning at least the equivalent of 16 hours per week at minimum wage. You must also earn less than £100,000 per year per parent.
